NECROPOLIS PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Anke Calligraphy

Scrapkit called Necropolis by Dianna at Digi Cats & Dogs. This is a PTU and can be purchased from

Tube of choice. I used Gabriella by Maxine Gadd. I purchased mine through MPT, but her work can now be found at PTE

Mask of choice – WSL105



Open a new canvas 700 x 700 and fill white.

Layers – new raster layer - Selections – select all. Paste  Paper 19 into selection. Apply mask WSL105. Merge group.

Copy & paste Frame01. Resize 85% then 90%. Dropshadow

Paste tube over frame and move into position. Duplicate tube and move one down between under frame

Click inside frame with magic wand. Expand 6 Layers – new raster layer and fill with gold gradient of choice.
Apply texture of choice. Selections – invert and click on bottom tube. Hit delete.
Deselect.

Dropshadow top copy of tube and erase excess.

Plant – Resize 65%. Paste bottom left under gradient layer. Sharpen, and delete bit sticking out at bottom.
Duplicate and move bottom copy up and out a bit. Merge both plant layers together.
Duplicate – mirror. Dropshadow both

Anubis01 – Resize 85% Dropshadow

Pyramids – Resize 60%. Mirror
Paste over frame. Dropshadow




Bowl – Resize 60% Dropshadow

Bast01 – Resize 50% then 75% Dropshadow

Dragonfly – Resize 50%. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.

RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Bone, found

African Dreams scrapkit by Sunnyside Scraps FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Jungle Girl by Elias Chatzoudis. His work can be found at

Mask of choice – I used WSL75

Dropshadow as you go.

New Canvas 700 x 700 and floodfill white

Layers – new raster layer
Selections – select all
Paste Paper 21 into Selection
Deselect

Apply WSL Mask 75
Merge group

Element 11 – Resize 70%

Click in centre of frame with magic wand
Expand 8
Layers – new raster layer
Paste Paper 7 into selection.
Deselect.

Paste close up of tube over paper layer and delete excess.
Dropshadow
Layers – Properties – Soft Light

Element 65 – Resize 60% twice. Sharpen.
Duplicate – mirror – flip. Move left so it is in same position in corner as the other one. Merge down and move under the paper 7 layer.

Element 35 – Resize 30%. Free rotate right 7. Place on left of frame
Duplicate – mirror.
On the duplicate, erase the oval top, leaving just the dangly bits. Resize 90% and move left making sure they are underneath the first copy.
Sharpen. Merge down.

Element 25 – Resize 50% then 75%. Mirror, rotate left 20 Sharpen.

Element 30 – Resize 50% twice. Mirror. Sharpen.

Element 14 – Position over white background layer and move to the right.
Duplicate – mirror. Move this copy left and down.



Close background and mask layers and merge visible. Centre merged Layers – new raster layer Re-open mask and background.

Add any other embellishments of choice.
(I added some wording.)

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.

NATURE TALK FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used A Charming Font Superextended, found

Scrapkit by Scrap Dimensions called Nature Talk FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Messenger and Faun Farie by Janice Leotti. Her work can  be found at CDO

Mask of choice – I used WSL82

Scarlet-Rosey collab template 4 which can be found

HANDY TIPS:
1. To create a frame effect:
This method can be used any time you want a frame. Just move the larger shape above the smaller one. Float the smaller shape and delete the larger one.


2. To fill template layers:

Selections – select all – float – defloat. Layers – new raster layer – paste paper into selection. Deselect. Sharpen.


Open Scarlet-Rosey collab template 4. Copy, and close original
Delete top three layers ( credits, raster 4 & raster 3 )
Delete shape 3 and shape 3 copy ( the 2 black diagonal rectangles)

Dropshadow as you go

Resize all 95%
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on white layer at the bottom and floodfill white

Add new raster layer on top of white background. Selections – select all – paste Paper 5 into selection. Deselect. Apply Mask WSL82. Merge group.

Paste tubes as new layer & position where you want them. Merge tubes and dropshadow. Close off for now.

Set foreground colour to #acb177 and Background to #e0d8d5. Make gradient 45 degrees and 3 repeats.

Raster 2 - Selections – float – defloat –Layers – new raster layer & fill with gradient. DO NOT DESELECT!
Mura Meister Cloud on default settings.
Selections – invert.
Click on tubes layer – open back up – and delete any excess you don’t want showing. (I just did the right hand side and the bottom).
Deselect.

Give cloud fill a texture of a Nature-y kind. I used blue spruce which I think came with the computer lol.

Move Raster 5 (black rectangle) above raster 2 ( cloud rectangle).
Click on raster 2. Selections – float – defloat
Click on black rectangle and hit delete.
Layers – new raster layer and paste Paper 4 into selection.
Deselect. Sharpen
Add inner bevel and dropshadow.

Pink diagonal rectangle – Paper 1. Dropshadow

Purple diagonal rectangle – Paper 1. Dropshadow

Shape 2 (left blue diamond) – Paper 3 paste into selection

Shape 2 copy (right blue diamond) – Paper 3 paste into selection

Shape 1 (left black diamond) – Fill with #3e2806

Shape 1 copy (right black diamond) - Fill with #3e2806

Shape 4 copy (white circle) – Paper 6 paste into selection

Shape 4 copy (black circle) - Paper 4 paste into selection.

Create frame effect (see above) for circle layers and left and right diamond layers.
Inner bevel frames and dropshadow.

Flowers 2 – Resize 75%. Flip. Position over circle frame layer on the right. Sharpen. Duplicate - mirror. Dropshadow.

Tree – Resize 50%. Position over circle frame layer. Duplicate – mirror, and move this one down a bit. Merge both trees together and delete the trunk that sticks out at the bottom.
Duplicate – mirror - flip
Dropshadow both.

Daisy 2 – Resize 25% then 80%. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Daisy 1 – Resize 25% then 70%. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Leaves - Resize 50% then 75%. Sharpen. Duplicate and move down slightly. Dropshadow

Timber – Resize 50% twice. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Bird in nest – Resize 40% then 75%. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Butterfly 2 – Resize 25% then 60%. Free rotate right 15. Sharpen. Duplicate, resize this one another 80% and mirror.
Dropshadow both


Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.

GREEN GODDESS FTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Monika, found

Scrapkit by Wishing on a Starr called Green Goddess  FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Early Visit by Rachel Tallamy. Rachel’s gorgeous tubes can be found at Up Your Art

Mask of choice – I used WSL4


New canvas 600 x 600
Floodfill white

Add new raster layer. Selections – select all – paste Paper 18 into selection. Layers – load/save mask WSL 4 from disk
Merge group
Lower opacity to 75

Set foreground colour to #24622d, background null
Preset shapes – oval width 8
Draw oval (see mine for reference). Go to objects – align – centre in canvas
Convert to raster & give inner bevel & dropshadow.

Click inside this oval frame with magic wand, expand 6.
Layers – new raster layer and paste Paper 11 into selection. Deselect.

Green Goddess frame ( the one with peacocks ). Paste under the paper 11 layer and move to the left. Duplicate – mirror & merge down.
Duplicate again and free rotate 90 degrees. Move down a bit. Merge both these peacock layer together and dropshadow.

Fern – free rotate left 60. Sharpen more. Paste left. Dropshadow

Acrylic Ivy -  Resize 50% and paste over oval frame on left. Dropshadow

Floral – resize 75%. Paste over ivy. Dropshadow

Calla lily – Resize 75% then 85%. Paste over oval frame to the right. Dropshadow

Arrangement – paste as bottom layer over white background, and move into position . Dropshadow
Delete any excess poking out from behind the foliage on the left

Hummingbird – Resize 20%. Duplicate - mirror and place where desired. Dropshadow

Add tube. Dropshadow
Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.

TENDRE POISON PTU

You will need:

Font of choice – I used Dali, FTU font found

Scrapkit called Tendre Poison
This a PTU kit from Addictive Pleasures, and can be purchased from

Tube of choice. I used Poison Ivy by Maxine Gadd. These tubes can be found at MPT

Mask of choice – I used WSL4




Open new raster layer 700 x 700 and floodfill white

Layer – new raster layer
Selections – select all
Paper 1  paste into selection.
New raster layer –
Paper 8  paste into selection
Deselect. Sharpen both. Close off paper 8 for the moment

Apply mask WSL 4 to paper 1 ( green one ). Merge group, then stretch mask out to fill canvas. Duplicate & merge down.

Open Paper 8 layer ( gold ) and apply same mask, Merge group, but do not stretch this one out. Go to adjust sharpness – sharpen more.

Frame 3  Copy & paste. Dropshadow.
Click inside frame with magic wand and expand 6. Layers – new raster layer and paste Paper 4 into selection. Deselect. Adjust hue & saturation to 30  91. Sharpen.

Vine – paste over frame on right. Duplicate – mirror – flip. Dropshadow

Paste tube over frame. Dropshadow and move up. You can adjust placement later when all other embellishments are in place.

Frame 2 – resize 50% and paste as new layer on left. Free rotate left 20. Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror and move back to left hand side overlapping other frame slightly. Merge down. Dropshadow.

Paper 9 – resize 70% and paste under heart frames. Sharpen.
Click inside heart frames, making sure you get all the little bits. Expand 6 selections – invert.
Click on paper and delete. Deselect.
Go to textures – weave with the following settings:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->1        <!--[endif]-->2  59  colour #30632b for both.

Merge frame down to paper.

Book – resize 60%. Free rotate left 15 and place under heartframe. Sharpen. Dropshadow

Doodle – resize 75%. Paste above white background bottom right of canvas. Duplicate – mirror – flip. Erase small bit sticking up at the top right. Dropshadow.

Vine 2 – Flip – mirror and place bottom left. Move so that the stalky bit is hidden by the ribbon on the heartframe. Duplicate – mirror. Dropshadow both

Rose – resize 50% place on right. Sharpen. Duplicate – mirror. Dropshadow both

Flower – paste bottom right. Dropshadow

Locknkey – resize 50%. Mirror. Sharpen. Dropshadow.

Bottle 2 – resize 60%. Place to the right

Ribbon 2 – resize 50%

Mask – resize 75%. Free rotate right15. Sharpen twice. Dropshadow

Bottle – resize 50%


Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.




KARMA FTU

Open Scarlet-Rosey collab template 3. Copy, and close original
Delete Layer 2 ( copyright ).
Delete Wordart layer ( Attitude)
Delete large dotted rectangle layer

Dropshadow as you go

Resize all 95%
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on white layer at the bottom and floodfill white

OK. To fill template layers . . .  Selections – select all – float – defloat. Layers – new raster layer – paste paper into selection. Deselect. Sharpen.
Two exceptions are SHAPE 2 COPY 5,  and SHAPE 2 COPY 7 ( We will deal with these as you get to them ).

Starting from the bottom layer, I used:

Shape 2 Copy 2 = Paper 10

Shape 1 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 1 copy = Paper 1

Shape 1 copy 2 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 1 copy 3 = Paper 1

Shape 2 copy – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 2 copy 3 = Paper 6

Shape 2 copy 4 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 2 Copy 5 – Set Paper 6 as your foreground pattern with angle 45. Fill this template layer with pattern in same way you have been doing other layers.

Shape 2 Copy 6 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 2 copy 7– Set Paper 6 as your foreground pattern with angle 135. Fill this template layer with pattern in same way you have been doing other layers.

Shape 2 copy 8 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 2 copy 9 = Rotate Paper 6 right 90 degrees

Shape 1 copy 4 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked

Shape 1 copy 5 = Paper 2

Grey rectangle = Paper 9

Small black dotted rectangle – give inner bevel

Pink rectangle = Paper 1

Black rectangle = Paper 3

Star line – give inner bevel

Merge left and right stars together = Paper 2. Adjust – add noise 60 With Gaussian checked, and monochrome Unchecked. Give inner bevel.

Add tube – I used the close-up one. Bring star line up and over tube layer.

Karma wordart – resize 50%
Selections – select all – float – defloat - Layers – new raster layer fill with #2f3b71.
Selections – select all – float – defloat – modify expand by 2 and fill with white. Deselect.
Move white layer below blue.
Give inner bevel to blue layer and dropshadow white. Merge together and place where desired.

WHEW!!!  That’s the hardest part done. Now you get to add embellishments

Eyelet run – Resize 50% free rotate right 45. Paste above Shape 1 copy 2. Sharpen. Duplicate – Mirror.

Doodle 2 – Resize 90%. Paste over white Background top left. Duplicate – mirror - flip

Staples – place where desired – I duplicated and rotated as well

Leaves – Resize 50%. Paste over shape 2 copy 2 layer. Duplicate – mirror

Butterfly 1 – resize 40%

Add new raster layer on top of white background. Selections – select all – paste paper 2 into selection. Deselect. Colorize 2 159

Layers – load/save mask WSL 4 from disk
Merge group


Add any other embellishments of choice.

Crop & resize if desired.

Add copyrights and name.
