Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental
You will need:
Font of choice – I used Problem Secretary, found
Scrapkit by Terry called Dreams In Blue FTU found
Tube of choice. I used Bonnie by Elias Chatzoudis. I purchased this tube through MPT, but his work can now be found at
Mask of choice – I used WSL4
Scarlet-Rosey collab template 3 which can be found
Karma Wordart by Tonya which can be found
Open Scarlet-Rosey collab template 3. Copy, and close original
Delete Layer 2 ( copyright ).
Delete Wordart layer ( Attitude)
Delete large dotted rectangle layer
Dropshadow as you go
Resize all 95%
Image – canvas size 700 x 700

OK. To fill template layers . . . Selections – select all – float – defloat. Layers – new raster layer – paste paper into selection. Deselect. Sharpen.
Two exceptions are SHAPE 2 COPY 5, and SHAPE 2 COPY 7 ( We will deal with these as you get to them ).
Starting from the bottom layer, I used:
Shape 2 Copy 2 = Paper 10
Shape 1 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 1 copy = Paper 1
Shape 1 copy 2 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 1 copy 3 = Paper 1
Shape 2 copy – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 2 copy 3 = Paper 6
Shape 2 copy 4 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 2 Copy 5 – Set Paper 6 as your foreground pattern with angle 45. Fill this template layer with pattern in same way you have been doing other layers.
Shape 2 Copy 6 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 2 copy 7– Set Paper 6 as your foreground pattern with angle 135. Fill this template layer with pattern in same way you have been doing other layers.
Shape 2 copy 8 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 2 copy 9 = Rotate Paper 6 right 90 degrees
Shape 1 copy 4 – adjust - add noise 60 uniform and monochrome checked
Shape 1 copy 5 = Paper 2
Grey rectangle = Paper 9
Small black dotted rectangle – give inner bevel
Pink rectangle = Paper 1
Black rectangle = Paper 3
Star line – give inner bevel
Merge left and right stars together = Paper 2. Adjust – add noise 60 With Gaussian checked, and monochrome Unchecked. Give inner bevel.
Add tube – I used the close-up one. Bring star line up and over tube layer.
Karma wordart – resize 50%
Selections – select all – float – defloat - Layers – new raster layer fill with #2f3b71.
Selections – select all – float – defloat – modify expand by 2 and fill with white. Deselect.
Move white layer below blue.
Give inner bevel to blue layer and dropshadow white. Merge together and place where desired.
WHEW!!! That’s the hardest part done. Now you get to add embellishments
Eyelet run – Resize 50% free rotate right 45. Paste above Shape 1 copy 2. Sharpen. Duplicate – Mirror.
Doodle 2 – Resize 90%. Paste over white Background top left. Duplicate – mirror - flip
Staples – place where desired – I duplicated and rotated as well
Leaves – Resize 50%. Paste over shape 2 copy 2 layer. Duplicate – mirror
Butterfly 1 – resize 40%
Add new raster layer on top of white background. Selections – select all – paste paper 2 into selection. Deselect. Colorize 2 159
Layers – load/save mask WSL 4 from disk
Merge group
Add any other embellishments of choice.
Crop & resize if desired.
