NATURE TALK FTU

Written by Gwenda on April 16th  2011
Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental

You will need:

Font of choice – I used A Charming Font Superextended, found

Scrapkit by Scrap Dimensions called Nature Talk FTU found

Tube of choice. I used Messenger and Faun Farie by Janice Leotti. Her work can  be found at CDO

Mask of choice – I used WSL82

Scarlet-Rosey collab template 4 which can be found

HANDY TIPS:
1. To create a frame effect:
This method can be used any time you want a frame. Just move the larger shape above the smaller one. Float the smaller shape and delete the larger one.

2. To fill template layers:

Selections – select all – float – defloat. Layers – new raster layer – paste paper into selection. Deselect. Sharpen.

Open Scarlet-Rosey collab template 4. Copy, and close original
Delete top three layers ( credits, raster 4 & raster 3 )
Delete shape 3 and shape 3 copy ( the 2 black diagonal rectangles)

Dropshadow as you go

Resize all 95%
Image – canvas size 700 x 700
Click on white layer at the bottom and floodfill white

Add new raster layer on top of white background. Selections – select all – paste Paper 5 into selection. Deselect. Apply Mask WSL82. Merge group.

Paste tubes as new layer & position where you want them. Merge tubes and dropshadow. Close off for now.

Set foreground colour to #acb177 and Background to #e0d8d5. Make gradient 45 degrees and 3 repeats.

Raster 2 - Selections – float – defloat –Layers – new raster layer & fill with gradient. DO NOT DESELECT!
Mura Meister Cloud on default settings.
Selections – invert.
Click on tubes layer – open back up – and delete any excess you don’t want showing. (I just did the right hand side and the bottom).
Deselect.

Give cloud fill a texture of a Nature-y kind. I used blue spruce which I think came with the computer lol.

Move Raster 5 (black rectangle) above raster 2 ( cloud rectangle).
Click on raster 2. Selections – float – defloat
Click on black rectangle and hit delete.
Layers – new raster layer and paste Paper 4 into selection.
